Have you ever wondered how exactly Alzheimer’s disease changes the brain and how WE, together, can pave the road forward to a cure? The National Institute of Aging (NIA) has shared an insightful video on the causes and effects of Alzheimer’s.

How Alzheimer’s Changes the Brain [1]

Why Should You Participate?

Alzheimer’s is not just about the person who is diagnosed, it’s about the family and community it affects. Most caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s disease are family members and close friends.

Why I Participate in Alzheimer’s Research? [2]

Participating in Alzheimer’s research can impact the lives of the ones living with Alzheimer’s, the caregivers and most importantly, the future generations. According to NIA, “currently, at least 270,000 volunteers are needed to participate in about 200 active clinical trials and studies that are testing ways to understand, diagnose, treat, and prevent Alzheimer’s disease.” [3]

Come get involved - a cure is not possible without you!
